Question Blackberry 8310 - Mail via USB

Please Login to Remove!

My Blackberry 8310 arrived a few days ago, and while my new contract (and my ability to use the phone) doesn't start until the 22nd, I'd like to set email up on my computer, ready for it.

The way I want to do it may seem unusual, but I have no real need to instantly send and recieve email on the go, but it would be handy to be able to sync up my inbox in the morning, compose mails throughout the day, and have them automatically sent when I connect my Blackberry to PC upon returning home.

I have a Gmail account, which is sync'd with Windows Mail on my Vista system. I want to know if it's possible to set it up so that anything 'new' that's on Windows Mail will sync to the Blackberry, with the option to compose replies on the go, and as I said above, have it all sync up (and send composed replies) again when I connect it to the PC at home.

Any help much appreciated!

Nope... what you want to do is not possible.
You need an active BlackBerry data plan on the device in order to get any email delivered to it.
Mail is only delivered wirelessly to the handheld.
Mail doesn't sync on a BlackBerry device.
