Default Hotmail BIS

Please Login to Remove!

I have set up several different e-mails (via BIS) and they all work except for the newest hotmail account. I got a message when I first set it up that I had to log in to the hotmail site and then it would work. I logged in and then the BIS site said I had to access the account through outlook express or live desktop, which I did. Then the BIS site said it was OK, but I never receive any e-mails through. I can send from it OK, just not receive.

Anyone have any ideas??

BTW I have 2 other hotmail accounts that work just fine

The basic Hotmail will not work on BIS. It is a Hotmail limitation, in which they make you upgrade to Hotmail Plus and pay the annual fee to allow it be setup on a BIS account.

Some older Hotmail accounts were grandfathered in, so if you read that some will work, that is true.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Make sure you resend your books to your device that might work

Hotmail (free) only works for people who have old accounts generally around the 5yr and over mark. Like JSanders said, they want you to upgrade to plus. What else would you expect from Bill and Company?
