ok this morning when i got up my dad asked me if i was using his phone cause i occasionally take it to play with it cause he just got it last monday but i didnt have it, and he couldnt find it, then he realized his wallet was missing both were in his truck last nigh and we think someone might have stole it and i was wondering if there was anyway to get a gps lock on the phone if it is off, it is a brand new 8830 world editon i really could use anything u got thanks everyone...

no way to gps find it. It just doesn't work that way.

Your options are to call your carrier and report it stolen. Ask them to block the PIN from use.

Before you do that, you could call it or text a message to it asking whoever took to please return it, offer a reward for it if you can. If you don't have the BB locked with a password, at least the thief might read and return it. Who knows. Stranger things in this world have happened.

ya =[ we called the company they said they can track it but not if its off and they are gunna check if any calls were made(on the phone now) and if so we can start sumthing but other then that its pretty much gone, really feel bad for my dad cause he recieved his phone a week ago yesterday but blackberry server was down so he waited till monday to get it set upp now its gone less then a week its really to bad =[

well it was a company phone so he was able to get another one cause they do so much buisness with a phone company they sent him another to bad though =[
