I am on a corporate BES but would like to synch my address book and contacts from my personal Outlook account, not my work Outlook account.

When attempting, I get an error message indicating that I am only setup for wireless synch


Is this possible to synch both BES wireless and through my local desktop?

There is probably some IT Policy from your company to prevent it. Talk to your BES Admin to see if the company can let you do it.

In any case both your company and personal contacts will be merged into one contact list, visible in Outlook on bot PCs..

Open the address book options on your BlackBerry. Change Wireless Sync from Yes to No. Thats it, you should be able to sync locally now.

Not simultaneously. You'll need to toggle the wireless sync off and then back on each time you want to do a wired sync.
