Default Cant log on to another VB forum?

Please Login to Remove!

I am using a Curve 3800 and I cant get past the log in page.

Its a Vbulletin forum just like this one but it is VB 3.6.8 (slightly newer version)

What happens is I get to the log on page

And am taken right back to the same page

As if I didn't do anything.

Most aggravating.

The UK help desk guys tried to access this (other) forum on several handsets and even with the Opera browser but didnt manage to log in...

Any ideas?

Hang on...

I just discovered an https proxy setting in the security section.. I wonder if that is the issue..(as that forums servers do make use of https.....)?

(will report back)

Thanks in advance..

Are they using wiforums? I assume you are referring to the wap site.

Dunno what you mean sorry,

The forum I need to log into is just a regular forum, has no particular WAP provision... Nothing to do with wiforums (whatever that is)

This is my first week with a Blackberry so I am a newbie, my network bearly got my GPRS running today, then it managed to drop it, restarting, sending service books etc all day hasnt restored the proper Blackberry GPRS...

Bummer...

Its been a bad hair day for my Blackberry from the start.. Tomorrow is another day though...
