Unlocked Cingular 8800 on T-Mobile network

Default Unlocked Cingular 8800 on T-Mobile network

I wasn't sure where to put this, so admins feel free to move it if necessary.

I recently purchased an unlocked BB8800 and am a T-Mobile customer.
I know for connecting the phone to the cordless bluetooth for internet the T-Mobile APN needs to be put in, but for the TCP settings, do I need to change that as well?

Currently it is as follows: (found under Options>Advanced Options>TCP)
APN:wap.cingular
Username for APN: [email address]
Password for APN:*********

Do I need to change that to the T-Mobile APN?

Yes, you should change that, especially if you have a T-Mobile SIM card. I believe it needs to be wap.voicestream.com. Username and password are blank.

Yes he was correct about changing it, but i was just double checking the APN thats all.

If my post made it seem as if I were not trusting his suggestion I'm sorry, thats not what I meant it to mean.
