Hello all,

Two questions,

I am looking for an organizer for my 8800, I don't like the calendar and task manager that's on there.(I had an spv before and preferred it synced with my outlook calendar). Can anyone recommend a good organizer application for the 8800, I have looked through the applications on handago & blackberry but nothing jumps out at me.

Thanks for your help.

Pauric

PocketDay is one of the only ones out there.

I know it is all in personal preference, but I actually do prefer the RIM calendar over others I have seen. It syncs so seamless and easily with the Outlook.

There isn't very much else if you don't like what you saw on Handango.com. Did you look at the RIM site and did you look at the 3rd Party Software section on this forum?

BB Calendar, contacts, tasks and notes all sync with Outlook. I am assuming you know that.

WebIs has a BB version of Pocket Informant in the works, soon to go into Alpha but there is no confirmed release date that I know of.

What exactly don't you like about the installed apps? What features do you need/want?

On outlook my days would be color coded and block sectioned a look at the month would let me know very quickly when and what was happening. This was the same on the SPV. I might just buy an electronic organizer.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I think there is a program called Pocket Informant which hasn't come out yet that may solve the problem.
Otherwise, you have Pocket Day which was already mentioned above
