Default AOL / Yahoo Messenger on Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

I have my BlackBerry Pearl for about a month now. A friend of mine referred me to this site and told me this is the place to go for good information.

While I am very happy with the BlackBerry messenger feature on my phone, I am unable to download AIM or Yahoo IM.

Is there a way to accomplish this or is the service just not available?

Thanks

You can do it individually but I would suggest Jivetalk it's an IM Application which will do both of those and it's slick! It's not a free program but worth it!

I was trying to download Yahoo messenger on a curve the other day, but wasnt haveing any luck. After searching, I was told it isnt yet compatible with ATT. If thats who you are using, Yahoo IM might not work. Not sure about the AOL one.

Download Yahoo Mobile. It will set up through Blackberry Desktop. The next time you connect install it.

It works with tmo and the Pearl.

Default Instant messenger

Call the AT&T csr
(I have the BB 8100)
Ask him why my replacement phone didn't have yahoo im enable?
long story short he directed me to Media net on my phone

then mail & messaging
then mobile im
and download the im

this im is for yahoo, windows live, and aol

DID NOT SEE ANY TRAIL PERIOD NOTIFICATION, SO IT MIGHT BE FREE
