One of our users just got the Curve phone (ATT), and for some reason whenever he sends an email from his phone, he gets the delivery confirmation email on his phone and work Outlook account. The confirmation setting is turned off in the general email settings but it still sends. Any ideas how to stop this? We are using BIS and his mail on the phone is forwarded through Exchange server.

I understand your BIS settings but I am NOT clear as to what's happening in your general Outlook

If the user sends an email message from his bberry, he receives "message was delivered to the recipient" confirmation email. I am trying to stop this. I turned it off under general settings, but they still come through.

I'm still having this issue. When 2 of our Curve users send emails from their phones, they receive delivery confirmations in their outlook accounts. They are BIS users, on ATT. The message getting delivered to their outlook accounts is the following:

Your message was delivered to the recipient.
Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

I turned off the 'Confirm Delivery' option on phone, but it didnt help. Anyone have ideas how to prevent these messages from sending to the users outlook accounts???

you need to turn it off for each account on the berry. overlooked most of the time. if you have 3 email addresses, in the general settings make sure its off for all of them

I get it sometimes when I send to certain users but not everyone in the same account. All settings are designated to "no"

Thanks for the response, I'll check to see if they have multiple accounts on their phones. I know one guy does, but i think the other just has one, but I will double check.
