Default How to force sent emails to Plain Text

Please Login to Remove!

On my 8830 I sent a very basic email.

The administrator at the site I sent the email to said that the site would only recognize Plain Text emails and my Blackberry was sending MIME encoded emails.

Is this something I can change on the Blackberry to force it to send Plain Text?

Thanks

Hmmmm...I thought the BlackBerry only worked with plain-text e-mail. I don't believe there are any settings on the BlackBerry to change the format. At least none that I know of...

Agreed.
If anything, I would like to learn how to do the opposite.

You can not force blackberry send ASCII emails. It is sending all emails in UNICODE (UTF-8), even if the body of email is plain English text.

Some spam filters freak out on ASCII text sent in UTF-8, but it is their problem- nobody stops me from doing the same in Outlook, for example.
