The applications installs but the icon does not appear on the application list. I have followed several links in other threads to no avail. 1. Anyone have any ideas please (that work)?

Version 1.095 works on a colleague's machine without problems, (2) anybody have any idea how to get hold of the older version?

Thanks but that doesn't do it. I did a search before posting the above and none of the remedies refered to earlier topics on this site and one other thread relating to just AT&T/Yahoo on another site referred from here, work.

Just for info and people similar in my situation:

- My machine had a clean install of OS 4.2 so it does not have net_rim_yahoomessenger (1.1.etc)

- the remedy referred to on the other site, requiring deletion of Desktop [SYNC] etc in the procedure, does not do anything either. It is a specific AT&T related issue.
