Default BB Web browser, drop down menus wont operate?

Please Login to Remove!

I am accessing a site especially for PDA access, but the drop down menus aren't functioning.

Viewing the same web page on my laptop, the options drop down when clicked on...

... but on my BB clicking on them produces no drop down, nothing happens.. and using the trackball (curve 8300) doesn't reveal / scroll any options either..

Bummer..

So, is there any tweak I need to perform to my browser settings to get these sort of things to work?

I have also tried using the network connection instead of the BB network connection, but still no joy..

Aggravatingly that site worked fine on my Palm PDA..

I would post a link to have a look at but its confidential etc...

Thanks in advance BB comrades!

What I do for drop-down lists is press the ALT key, which is a shortcut key for changing options. See if that works.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

Have you tried and would you use the Opera Mini?

I am desperate to get Opera Mini going...!!!!

But have failed so far..

Cant get past the "installing / failed to connect" BS.. that i think a lot of people suffer from

I"m working on it!

(I am in the UK on the O2 Network and all the TMobile US network tips - might not work for me)

I need to find a UK BB person on the same network as me who has figured it all out!

OK I have done some snooping around, the gossip is, in a week or so...

BB will soon announce a version of Opera for download from the BB site that WILL work.
