Default Pocketmac on Intel-Based macs Sync Issues

Please Login to Remove!

I just installed Pocketmac to sync my Blackberry pearl with my Macbook Pro. After installing the software I kept getting the "no connection available: error 1" message. I tried to reinstall the software thinking that it might have been an issue with the installing, when I noticed that Blackberry states that there are known issues with Pocketmac Software and Intelbased macs. After completing the installation I restarted my mac as instructed only to find out after booting up againt hat all my files on the desktop have been deleted alone with, contacts, resetting Safari, pocketmac apps files and basically everything related to Pocketmac, mails and contacts. Now I'm losing everything I have on my desktop everytime I restart.

Does anyone else have this problem, or knows how to solve it?
