Hi,

I'm setup on BIS and I set myself up with a att.blackberry.net email address and for some reason now I'm getting all my gmail messages twice. BIS already had my gmail and yahoo accounts. However, once I added my att.blackberry.net account, all my gmail messages started coming in to the blackberry via gmail and the att.blackberry.net account. I'm getting duplicates and I have no clue why.

Gmail isn't set to forward to the att.blackberry.net address (address was just created today)
This isn't the duplicate gmail sent issue that's discussed on another thread.

Any thoughts?

Yea, it's a new one for me too. It doesn't make sense why gmail messages would also be routed through the att.blackberry.net address.

Have you checked your BIS settings to see if auto bcc: or auto forward are enabled, or if on your gmail account (I have Yahoo/DSL), this is somehow enabled?

I would think it has to be something in your setup.

Okay, so there's something definitely going on and I don't know what. There were no auto bcc or forward in BIS under my att.blackberry.net or my gmail account. I deleted both my gmail and att.blackberry.net from the BIS.

Then I sent myself a test email to my gmail account from another email account. I received the message in gmail (on the web) without a problem, but I also got a message delivery error. "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender" it's complaining that my att.blackberry.net address no longer exists. I checked all my settings in gmail and I didn't see anything for auto forward under forwarding/pop/imap. Forwarding, POP, and IMAP are all disabled.

Any other thoughts?

Doh! I just found a filter in gmail that was forwarding to my old mycingular.blackberry.net account. I deleted that and all is well.

So remember to check your filters in gmail as well.
