Good afternoon,

I have an 8800 with Rogers Wireless and a premium account with Yahoo Mail.

When I send from my BB using my yahoo account, the item I sent winds up in my Yahoo Sent Items.

What I'd like is:

1) The e-mails I send to wind up in my Inbox so I can download them into my Outlook.

2) My BB not to download them.

How do I do that?

1)Set up your BIS with Rogers to "Auto BCC" your address-I think that is how I achieved this.

2) You must create a Filter on your Rogers BIS account page. That filter should say something like:

When From field contains "your e-mail address"
Do not forward to Device.

I have ATT so I do not know what Rogers filters page looks like but this is the general idea.



I can achieve both of the things you want I just hope I gave you the right answers- try those things out and see if it works- I set it up so long ago I forget what all the settings are for..good luck

That's about right. I just did that myself.

2) Setup up filter to keep it from looping back to your BB.

That's the thing. The Auto BCC is set to my own e-mail account (as it should be). But instead of the messages ending up in the Inbox, they end up in the Sent Items folder. I just figured that this was part of how BB works. Am I in the tall grass?

Set a rule in Outlook to put them where you want them. I do not believe you can put them in the "inbox" though- it has to be a subfolder-call it "sent from BB" or something.

Let me try this again.

I send something from my BB using my Yahoo Account.

My PC at home is off.

I look at my Yahoo account and the e-mail I just sent is in the Yahoo sent items box.

I want it to wind up in my Yahoo inbox so that I can download it to my Outlook (when I turn my PC on).

I assume this is so because of a BB setting.

Definitely something wrong I would think with the way your BIS is set up. I have Yahoo/DSL mail and I get a copy in my Yahoo sent folder AND in my Inbox.

The filter prevents the one in your Inbox from being sent back to your BB.

You need to BCC your address from the Rogers BIS setup and it should show up in the inbox.

I removed my rule in Outlook to check this out and my sent from BB e-mail shows up in the inbox of Outlook as sent to "Me @My E-mail address.com" when you BCC. The actual (not BCC) e-mail shows up in the Yahoo "sent" folder but it never shows up in Outlook-I guess it does not POP the sent folder.
