8820 owners, speak up please...!

Greetings,

I have just switched from verizon over to ATT, and picked up a new 8820. I had a hard time deciding between the 8310 and 8820... really it came down to the keyboard and wifi option. But the phone is a little thick, I'm wondering if I should switch it before the 30 days runs out.

Everybody seems to love the 8310, I hear so much about it... does anybody love the 8820?? I work in the film industry, and use maps everyday. I am so excited to try out the gps, but I guess the same program is on the curve...

Is wifi that important? What do you think 8820 owners? How often do you use it? Who loves the 8820??

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

The new 8310 does have gps!

It is a tough choice if wifi isn't that important to you then swap devices

I had the 8300, then the 8310 and went to the 8820.......for a few days. I was really missing my 8310 for it's size. the 8820 does seem a bit more solid but you feel that too. It feels like a brick compared to the 8310. The WiFi is cool and a bit faster than EDGE but I can wait til RIM comes out with all that in a smaller version. I'm back to my 8310 and the 8820 is going on ebay.

Do you like Apples? Or do you like Oranges? What you're asking is a personal preference and how you use your BB. Personally, My 8300 sits in a box on the shelf and never turned on. I use my 8820 everyday. I leverage wireless pretty much everywhere I go. Does that make it a better phone/PDA/e-mail device? For me... yes. For you? Who knows? The 8820, 8300, 8310 & 8320 are ALL excellent devices. It's just a matter of what fit's your needs best.

There's not really a wrong choice here.

I am hoping that Verizon picks up the 8300 series ... Such a cool phone, I really want one over my 8830 ...
