Default Memory Question--MMS Messages Not Deleting?

Please Login to Remove!

I hover around 10 MB free. I have installed Google Maps, Beyond 411, Opera Mini Beta, Beamberry, Smartview, Itookthisonmyphone.com. I have installed and deleted many other programs, some more than once. I'm not sure, but it does not seem I got all memory back after the installs/deletes.

Also, I just checked my database sizes. Said I had MMS-27/2188K. That's over 2 MB in MMS messages? I have sent some. Hardly receive any, and I have NONE saved. I Did a "delete prior" to delete all, and a battery pull. Still shows I have 27 messages for 2188K. How is this possible? Thanks.....Jeff.

Edited to add: Doh! Went into SMS/MMS, did alt-O to show outgoing, and there were my phone, SMS, MMS logs going back a couple of weeks. Did "delete prior" and instantly freed up 3 MB.

Can someone please write an app that will let me see and clear all cache, logs, etc. and make "smart" memory choices like amount of mem reserved for pictures, media, etc? I'd pay money for such an app that would let me manage memory all in one place instead of going to half a dozen different places periodically. Thanks....
