I am just curious to see how do you find BB email setup compared to other devices iPhone, etc...

Is BIS email setup easy/confusing?
Is it hard for somebody new to know the difference between "set up an existing email account" and "create BlackBerry address"?
It it hard to figure out how to change email account information? (password, signature, etc.)

The answer to that question certainly depends on the user. Personally, I found it to be a piece of cake.

I thought it was pretty easy, once I got the right instructions. First time i did was on a 7750 several years ago and the instructions weren't very clear. Seems to be much better now.

Especially with the help of bbf members not that you'll need it but just in case!

It's a piece of cake. I picked up my new BB on Monday, activated it by phone on Tues, started BIS on Tues, 5 min later it was active and I set up my BB email address and 2 others and I've never had or held a BB before. If I can do it, anyone can.

Assuming your config is not particularly out of the ordinary you only need e-mail address and password and BIS sorts out the rest. In my opinion it is very easy, particularly for non-technical users when compared to some other smartphones.

I don't know about it compared to other phones, but it was not difficult. The 'biggest' thing I noticed is that your user name is its own entity apart from your @provider.blackberry.net email address. That wasn't 100% clear on my first attempt at editing my email account settings.

When you decided to change your email settings the first time, did you know that you had to look for a separate Email setup icon?
Did you look in the Mailbox -> Options -> Email Settings?
