Default Curve & Pearl on same account?

Please Login to Remove!

Example...

Can I use my Curve most of the time, and then switch to a Pearl to use as a "banger" phone on the weekend?

Will BIS work on both?

Yes, you can just use the switch device wizard if you wish to have all data. Just change the PIN on the BIS website.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Imho. That's more trouble than its worth but it can definitely be done

There are many members who have seperate work and play devices. Do you know of an easier way to do this? Anyone else?

Well, considering email delivery depends on the IMEI and PIN (PIN mostly I think) it would be darn near impossible to get email on the weekend device without switching the numbers, AFAIK.

You could drop in the SIM, assuming both devices are with the same carrier, and have voice and SMS capability, but not data unless the IMEI and PIN were changed.

Wouldn't you have to have data plans for both, as they would be seen as different phones by the carrier?

This would certainly make my head hurt, switching back and forth.
