Exclamation s/mime emails

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I use BB with t-mobile. I don't use enterprise server.
I use Thawte email certificates with my personal email account. So when I
receive an email on my bb, it shows s/mime attachment but cannot open
it.
Does anyone know a solution for personal emails. I need this
desperately. And I ready to pay the price for that.
Thanks in advance.

Hi I have digital certificates on all my email addresses. When I sent a test message with the digital certificate to my blackberry 2900, it could read the title of the email but not the message body.
Does any of you gifted blackberry geeks know how to correct this problem?
Cheers
pepe

There is an S/MIME Support Pack for the Blackberry that will allow for this functionality, but it only works with a Blackberry Enterprise Server (and only with Exchange, at that). Further, the cost is around $200 US per user.

Unfortunately, I am pretty sure there are not any solutions right now to provide this functionality for a non-BES user.

This remains frustrating, because I can't read the encrypted email people send me on my BB. is this resolved on the Pearl or other newer devices (4.2)?
