I recently got a 7100t BB and I am currently not using BES as my company is too cheap and therefore I am only using the Desktop sync for now. However, I am having a problem with the Calendar not syncing. I have a laptop with Win XP Pro and am using the version 4.0.0.30 Desktop from T-mobile and Lotus Notes v.6.5. Everything else, ie: Contacts, Memos and Tasks are syncing just fine, but when Calendar is selected to sync (even by itself) it freezes up and eventually stops responding in Windows and I have to end the task. Any ideas?
I have installed the most recent version that is on T-mobile's site. When you say SP1 do you mean revision 4.0.0.30, cause this is the most recent version?

I am still having a problem as the sync seems to hang/freeze during sync operation on the new SP1 version as well, I then have to shut down the application in task manager as it stops responding. Any ideas?
I had a similar problem and the sync tool would eventually crash. What I found was that there was a bogus/impropery formated calendar entry from someone using the Outlook to Notes bridge.
Check your calendar for any odd or oddly behaving calendar entries.
