Default Pearl or Curve for At&t???

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys, I'm thinking about unloading my iphone on Ebay because it can bring a good amount of cash right now. Besides, I don't need everything that it offers.

I had a pearl (8100) before the iphone and I was pleased. At&t now has the curve though. Which should I go with and why? I really liked the size of the pearl. Are they coming out with a new version of it? Any help would be great!

Thanks, WM

Personally, when you hold them side by side, I don't really see much of a difference in terms of size. I think the bottom line boils down to whether or not you want a full QWERTY keyboard, which the Curve has. I don't think Sure-Type will ever be for me.

I, too, love the full QWERTY keypad so I had to go with the Curve. But since you are used to the Pearl I guess it doesn't matter. I believe the 8120 will be released soon in the US. There haven't been any formal release dates yet. The Curve is a great device, though.

I guess it really depends on your wants and needs. The 8310 offers built-in GPS and a QWERTY keypad in a great, small form factor. It also has the camera like the Pearl. The Pearl has the size advantage, but it isn't MUCH smaller than the Curve. I can use my 8320 Curve from T-Mobile with one hand no problem. If you want one now I would recommend the 8310. If you are going to wait you may wait for the 9000 series. (Some have said will be released next year.)

Humm, I'll look into the 9000. Size is one of my main concerns. The iphone is big and bulky. I'm afraid the 8310 will be similar. I'm going to go check one out tomorrow. I loved the size of the pearl but the full keyboard may be worth it. I'll let you guys know what I think.
