Is there a calendar entry method that keeps showing me incomplete tasks every day, until they are marked as 'done'?

So for example the message "get haircut', would keep hopping to the next day until edited as "completed".

I cant figure this out..

Perhaps I am barking up the wrong tree and there is a tasks entry system that works or a way to link tasks to the calendar that I haven't figured out..

I DONT UNDERSTAND!

I have been using a program called todoMatrix that does this (from Rexwireless). You can set recurring alarms to happen every day until you remove the reminder. I got this program because I wanted a more powerful Tasks-type application, and the built in Tasks module didn't really have what I needed.

Yes, the calendar will be in tact. I just use it for tasks but I know it can do a lot of things.

Have you ever tried using the TASKS feature? I think this would solve your problem. . . you create a task and specify a Due Date, date when you want reminder to begin, frequency of reminder . . . until you complete the task.

OK I just put a task in
Due next year (whatever...)
I made the reminder "Relative" (what does that mean?) to be 5 mins

Lets see if it reminds me every 5 mins..??

I think what I am looking for is a way for things not done, to automatically 'hop" to the next day in my calendar view..

Relative means.... whatever the due date/time you put in it will alert relative to that.... so 5 min before.

I used DateBk on my Treo and it had a floating event fuction. If no action was taken to dismiss or remove a floating event, it would automatically move the event to the next day at midnight. I used that feature a lot and miss it on Blackberry.

Create a task. Choose your due date, choose a time for the alarm. Make the recurrence Daily. Make the alarm relative. The task will reoccur daily.

Marry it?

Yeah, "Floating event" is the only thing I miss on BB.
