When entering the number, press the trackwheel. There are options for insert pause, insert wait, etc.

i cannot seem to edit the voicemail option in the phone settings... it is preprogrammed wigth my mobile number, however when i push the trackwheel those options to add pause / wait etc are not there... how can i add it to that preprogrammed entry, or change the CALL VOICEMAIL to a cusotm entry with the correct chars?

any ideas?

Go to Phone, Settings, Voicemail. You should see your phone number and a second line that asks for additional numbers. Enter your passcode and a # and it should automatically dial your voicemail, wait for an answer, give your code and play your messages without additional input from you.
