Default HELP - Carrier Won't Provision for BES

Please Login to Remove!

I have just been relocated to france, and signed up with SFR (Vodafone in France) and when i signed up the guy said i would be able to access everything..

anyways turns out that SFR locks regular consumers to BIS.. and i need to find a carrier inn france that will let a consumer connect to BES.. i work with a company that is based out of canada.. and i need the scheduling and task manager in order to operate here in france..

ANY help anyone can give me on this would be really appreciated..

you can email me [email address] or reply to this thread or PIN me..

thanks

Is there another carrier that offers BES? Sounds to me like you need to move to someone else, if there is someone else to provide the voice and data coverage you need.

Why Not TMO? When I worked for Newell Rubbermaid we had tons of people with them on BES in the European areas

Wow, that's limited. One way to do is probably have two devices, one bb and another cell. Bb register in canada with unlimited bb plan. Voice just go with ur current carrier. I know it sucks, but that seems to be the only way out.

Also if ur company uses ms exchange server, not saying win mobile is better, but essentially u can use a win mobile device and go through active sync to sync up with your work xchange server. It will still be pushed for ur work email calendar and so on

No problem, glad I can help. For bb connect basically its any bb capable device with push email only. Non of the pin, bb messenger or bb maps will work. Pretty much device shares bb push email service, but use its own OS and GUI. Sometime its useful for instance on nokia e62 you can read html embedded email, which bb can't do without 3rd app.

But none the less, they only get a pin that's it, the pin is only used for identifying the device.

Treo750is cool and everything, typing on it is HARD! Lol, the keypad is small and with some firm spring underneath.

To be honest, never a huge fan of wm, used 8125 8525 tmobile dash, 750. Its all very good, but if I was gonna have to get one, it would be the 8525. I was able to get bb connect on it, its 3g with descent camera, its able to do a lot of things compare to all the other wm devices. I'm not entirely sure if tilt is able to get bb connect as of yet, if it can get bb connect then that would be pretty cool, tilts got internal gps in it too.

Typing is nice on the dash, very soft touch and between keypad there's a gap just like the curve, which is very nice.
