Angry Very VERY weird and frustrating problem

Please Login to Remove!

Howdy. Someone please help me before I drop kick my 8100 AND computer!!!

Here's the deal. I'm trying to download the latest upgrade for my Pearl from TMo. I go to the TMo website as I'm supposed to, click on the download link for the new OS and I get a pop up window that is something like tmobile/shop/phones!!! I've tried everything, including copying and pasting the URL for the download page from my work computer, then emailing to my home computer. Click on the URL and same thing!!!

Has anyone ever heard of this problem and does anyone have any idea how to fix so my sanity can be saved?!?! Blackberry Support at TMo has no clue...

HELP!!!!

Right. I got that. But on my home computer, that link will open tmobile/shop/phones. That is the rub.

I'd do it on my work computer, but can't download anything. Damn Computer Nazis...

You could try clearing your browser's temporary Internet files and try again. Or possibly use a friend's computer.

Sounds to me like spyware or malware on your home computer. Try running an antispyware utility and try it again

Nah, not spyware or malware. Probably need to clean the browser cache and history, delete all cookies. There's a good free utility that does a lot more thorough job than the Windows cleanmgr.exe utility.

Try this:

CCleaner - Home

Are you using IE? Try using anything else.

Wow, 2 threads today that I've trashed IE...where else can I spread the word?
