I've a new phone, great BB, but is there a quick way of copying all my conatcts onto the SIM card ?

Welcome to the Forums.

Download and install Desktop Manager, Ver 4.2, Service Pack 2.
BlackBerry Desktop Manager Downloads - BlackBerryFAQ

Then use Switch Device Wizard within DM to move all your contacts, data, etc., from one BB to the other.
