Default BB Professional Software on Partitioned Domino Server

We just got BlackBerry Professional Software which I was told could be installed on our existing Domino mail server and did not need to be installed on a seperate server. It installed fine, but the Dispatch service will not start and when I try to connect a BB device via Desktop Manager, I get a message that states "The Blackberry Server is either unavailable or has been specified incorrectly." We have Domino running on a Windows box - there are two Domino partitions on the server. Could this be a problem? I know the full BES docs say it is, but I can't find much documentation on the new Professional software that can be installed on the mail server.

I appreciate any help.
