I bought a Blackberry Pearl because I liked them. I dont have a blackberry plan, I have a regular cingular plan. Unlimited messaging (pic, sms, IM) and I called last night because I was not able to get the internet or pic/IM messaging to work. They told me the only way they will work is if I get a blackberry plan. The cheapest one is $50 a month and I dont want to spend that just for a data plan. Is there another way to get the internet/pic/im messaging to work without getting a blackberry plan?

The cheapest AT&T plan I believe is $29.99 WITH a voice plan.

If you don't have a Data Plan, you won't be able to get push email and all your data functions to operate.
