Default No icon showing after installing Yahoo Messenger.

Please Login to Remove!

I've been trying to install Yahoo messenger 2.0.33 on my 7100t with BB OS 4.1. but the screen doesn't show an Yahoo Messenger icon. I've tried installing it OTA and also connected to the PC. The previous version of Messenger (can't remember the version number worked well, but the 2.0 version's not showing the icon. looking at the installed apps in the options shows the app listed and the service book is present but no icon. Anyone else having this problem?

Have you pulled the battery to reboot, to see if the icon appears?

Multiple times, but like an idiot I ran a search on the forums after i posted the call for help and found out that installing the new version still leaves the old net_rim_yahoomessenger module on the device and removing it clears up the problem. That's what i get for posting before searching.
