Default reply with emails in pst

Hi,

I know that it is clearly unrecommended to manipulate emails which are redirected into pst files.
unfortunately, some users work with pst files for several years, and it is almost impossible to tell them to work otherwise because now they have a blackberry.
I have some users who have emails redirected into local pst files. Those emails are well received on the Blackberry but when we try to reply to one of those emails, the reply does not work: it finishes with a red cross.
Finally, if we do a "send again", it works fine! And we can always see that the second temptation is the good one.

Can anyone tell me why it always works on the second temptation ?
Finally, does anyone have a remedy for this ?

Thanx
