Question blackberry 7730 getting data refused

yes i have tried searching other threads, but some just go off to other subjects

well anyways i have tmobile and just got this 7730 off ebay
updated all the software and desktop stuff
i used my sim from a regular phone. i have the 600minutes plan, and i added tzones, because all i want is aim and yahoo, and just movie time stuff and on my tmobile .com it said my blackberry could do all of that with t-zones.

i got it, and all i get is gprs, data connection refused.
i have im+, reqwireless, berry411
do i honestly need the whole data plan, i dont even use email that much,


i changed the the apn to wap.voicestream.com
left the user and password blank

i just want the basic stufff

do you subscribe to a blackberry data plan? I dont know what tzones are but they sure dont sound like bb plans. IF you dont have a bb data plan then you get no connecty. By the sounds of it you are trying to use your bb on a pay per use basis, which is unpossible!

BUT NOT ON A BLACKBERRY.

To get to "GPRS" - and not "Data Connection Refused" you need a BlackBerry Data Plan.

T-Zones is fine for phones and Treos, but it does nothing on a BlackBerry...

I don't think the BB was designed with T-Zone only in mind...
