Hello all. Here's the problem:

I dropped my BB 7520 on my hardwood floor while talking on it. When I looked at the screen, it was garbled and illegible. Still on - and I could talk fine - but really whacked out looking. I later turned it off in an attempt to reboot. It reboots fine other than the fact that my screen is totally blank. I mean, the display light works properly and I can hear the phone ring. I can even talk on it. Essentially, I can blindly navigate my way around, however I can't see anything but a totally blank screen.

To clarify, I'm not talking about a situation where I see the little hourglass figure. It's not frozen up. I just can't see anything. My phone is my life (sadly enough). Please help!!

Oh yeah, I tried taking out the battery and reinserting ... several times to no avail.

Its toast the screeen is busted.

As mentioned, this problem does not require troubleshooting.
It requires your acceptance of the fact that you destroyed your screen.

Hopefully you have an equipment replacement warranty of some sort.

Thanks for your responses. RIM is overnighting me a new one. The cool thing is that the girl at the service dept allowed me to go ahead and sign up for the service plan right before she ordered the new phone.
