Default how do i receive my MSN premium email on my BB ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all,

I just got BB 7110T w/ T-mobile a week ago.
I have set up the enterprise email for my T-mobile company email and i have also set up my gmail. I have been searching this site and google for the past week on how to receive my MSN email on my BB 7100T and no luck so far.
Can any one help me out with this ? It is a msn premium email account . If this is not possible at all , does anyone know how to setup a fowarding option from msn ? I know about the mobile.msn but it is lacking in features . Also how can i access the regular hotmail.com web site on my 7100? I'll appreciate any help at all!!!

Thanks,

Jeff Silver

My understanding is that T-mobile does not permit you to set up Hotmail with your BWC; I assume the same is true for MSN. I originally handled this by setting up a rule to have my e-mail client forward certain Hotmail messages to my BB addr, but I'm now running one of those desktop forwarding programs that polls for messages every so many minutes and forwards them on to my BB. Good luck!

Try a third party email viewer like reqwireless for access to hotmail. If T-Mobile is blocking BWC access you won't get notification email has arrived but you will be able to check it manually with the reqwireless or other email viewer.

Unfortunately the reqwireless won't autopoll your email server and hotmail won't let you forward. You can run the program mentioned in the post above and that should solve your problem too.

Why would t-mobile block access for msn email ? i will try calling tech support for t-mobile and try and see if i can unblock it . Any other advice besides reqwireless viewer ?

I went round and round with MSN on this one. I am one of the original MSN beta testers, and have had continious service since then. The last answer they told me was they have no way to pop their webmail (the new msn), if you have an older hotmail account that you didnt integrate then you have a chance, but if you have t-mobile and msn your outaluck. Lets see if someone else has a cure.
I can still use mobile.msn to read my mail, and now that we are on a bes its pretty darn snappy. The downside is no notification, so you have to set rules to notify you on your bb mail of mail in your msn box. I only have a couple of people I have rules for but it works fine.

I think the only way for right now is to just go to mobile.msn.com from your BB internet browser.
