| Another outage? (Thursday, 6/23) Please Login to Remove! I am in Knoxville, TN and my Cingular 7290 is down again. I can send email and get on the browser but can not receive email. The phone also works. In the recent outage, I was not able to do anything except use the phone function. Is there yet another outage? I was able to get email up until 1 or 2 am this morning. Since then....nothing. Any ideas? | | Offline

| That doesn't sound like an outage to me. It sounds like a general BB issue.

| I got this email recently from Cingular talking about this. We have Enterprise support with them and I get notified via email when there is an outage. It seems that this is a sporadic national outage. I am in Texas and everything is fine with my users.

| According to the RIM technical support line (877-255-2377 opt. 2, opt. 5) there are currently no network outages... what's up with that?!?!?!?!

I sent you a test PIN from a spare phone here. (Not my PIN#)

| Well they lied. It was another 4 hours for me here in CO. Wouldn't it be nice if they told the truth about outages and rebooting phones? They don't seem to communicate well at all. I am getting impatient and Treo is looking better. http://money.cnn.com/2005/06/22/tech...reut/index.htm | | Offline

| There are no known outages. If anyone is having problems with email it is probably localized for the carrier, region or just some towers.
But the RIM BlackBerry Infrastructure is functioning. | | Offline

| Don't think it's RIM problem. It sounds like a provider issue.

| Just spent 20 minutes on the phone with a tech from Cingular and nothing we tried worked... I even took my SIM out and tried it in a spare BB we have lying around and had the same problem... GSM but not GPRS...
