has anyone else experienced email being marked as "read" on the Desktop - ie in the Outlook Inbox once the mail has been forwarded via the Web Client (T-Mobile)? I've spent a lot of time talking to T-mo PDA tech support as well as RIM tech support. All that I got out of RIM after several weeks of back and forth was that yes, this is an acknowleged problem with BB Webclient, hits random users without any rhyme or reason, Microsoft has published a workaround but it only applies to those using POP3 mail and Exchange 2000. Our corporate email is running on Exchange 5.5 and is not POP3. My Exchange system administrator and our destop support people state that there is nothing within the Exchange or Outlook settings that is prompting this.
A BES would solve everything but I only support 4 users so BES is not an option Of those 4 only one power user has this problem. I'm open to any and all help. HELP!
My next step is to test how truely "durable" this 7100T is. My Ballpin hammer is poised to drop.
