I am noticing that when I speak to someone else on a BB, the sound is very static and tinny sounding. It is not like this when they are on another cell phone or land line.

Has anyone else experienced this when communicating BB to BB?

I've only noticed issues when speaking to people who are on GSM blackberries. For some reason, these devices tend to pick up quite a bit of background noise, which I find very distracting.

Not so much an issue with CDMA berries.

I've not noticed tinny sound or static.

I'm on the Nextel network and there is no background noise or static when I talk to another BB unit.
