Default Add to Address Book - Default Location?

Please Login to Remove!

I did a search on this and could not find an answer.

When I receive a phone call from a number that is not in my address book. I have the option to add that number to my address book when I hit the BB button. When I select this option it automatically opens a new Address Book Entry with the Caller ID number filled into the 'Work' slot.
Is there anyway to change the default from 'Work'?
Or is there a way of telling the blackberry where you want it to put the number?

Sorry, no, at this time there is no way to change the default location. It's a pain, I agree.

I just use Select/Cut/Paste to move it to the correct field.

I don't believe there is. There have been other threads about this. I believe it just defaults to Work.

Thanks for the info. The BB is so customizable with all of the options, I can't believe, they didn't give us this option.
Oh well, I guess it can't be a perfect device.
