BB not connecting to server
 

Hey guys, I have a BB that is only getting GSM signal instead of GPRS. I have tried to remove the battery (this normally works) but it still only connects with GSM. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this to occur?

Out of data coverage range is the most likely one. Check with carrier

He does have coverage in his area.

I'll have someone re-provision his handheld and see if that works.

So we provisioned the device again, still not connecting to GPRS. Is this a carrier thing for sure then? Can there be anything else going on with the device, some type of setting? According to T-Mobile everything is activated on their end but I can push them harder to check again if you guys think its the carrier. Thx

Another option you may want top concider is reloading the handheld software.

No backup/restore and Erase all currently installed applications.
