i use my blackberry 7730 with lotus 5.0.11 and i don't understand why some mail appears in my blackberry.
Theses mails are stored into folder and i specify on the black berry to hide them but they are still here.
Do you why this ?

Are you on a BES 4 or are you using the Desktop Redirector?

I think i use Desktop Redirector (sorry i'm noob on bb).
My desktop redirector is Desktop manager v3.6.3.11.
My bb is on version 3.7.121 (plateform 1.6.1.23).
I am not able to update software.

Your Messages Folder on the BlackBerry is NOT an “Inbox”, it holds all of your “Messages”.

Check which folders you have redirecting to the Blackberry.
[7730 with version 4 firmware – for others]
Messages => (wheel)Options => Email settings => (wheel)Folder Redirection =>
(expand your Mailbox and uncheck any folders you do not want to redirect)

[7730 with version 3.6 firmware.]
(- it’s been too long since I had a 7730 on 3.6 & forget if you can do above from Handset too)
Using Desktop Manager;
Redirector Settings => Advanced => Folder Redirection => Selected Folders =>
[Choose Folders] =>
(expand your Mailbox and uncheck any folders you do not want to redirect)

Once this is done. (on the 7730 – or other Blackberry for that matter)
Messages => (wheel)Options => General Options => [make sure “Hide Filed Messages” is set to “Yes”]

Mail moved from Inbox to other folders will be considered "filed" and therefore hidden/removed

i did this but old mails archived are still staying on my bb.
I selected only inbox redirection but same problem :(.
