Unhappy Cannot Sync With Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone help me? I just got BB 7250. It will not sync with Outlook. I tried to go into Desktop Mgr and configure it to work with Outlook but it's not even an option? Does anyone know how I can get it to work w/Outlook?

Thanks,

You have to click on the configure PIM button then click "choose" under the address book. Outlook is a choice there. Make sure you place a checkmark in all of the sync boxes before you close the window.

I don't know what that would do, but if I go to configure PIM, and select Calendar, Address, etc. and then go to the Available Translators list, MS Outlook is not there. Do you know how I can get MS Outlook on that list?

Did you download your Blackberry desktop software onto your computer?

For some reason it is not a choice for me. I can only choose Lotus, Netscape or ASCII importer/exporter.
Also when I sync the BB, I get an error that reads "no applications configured for syncrinization".

When people say that they can't "sync" with Outlook, it generally means that they can not sync their e-mail in Outlook, which you can not do with a BlackBerry. You can sync contacts, notes, calendar and tasks, but you can not sync your e-mail. You forward e-mail, but you can't sync it.

my emails are forwarding to the bb fine. It's just the calendar, address, etc. will not sync. Any idea why Outlook is not an option in the translator list?

I'm not a typist and unfortunately the answer to your question will take me longer type than verbally answer. Do you know how to use the SMS PIN function on your BB?

no, unfortunately! I am not good with this thing at all. If I figure out how to use it will that fix this problem? If so, I know a tech person I can ask for some assistance. I just didn't know where to start with this issue.
