Red face Disable Blackberry service?

Hi all,

Just one dumb question..

Is it possible to disable the BB service and use the device only as a phone?

What I want is to use the device only as a phone when im in other country and disable the BB service.

Im using a 7290 (v4.0)/BES/MS Outlook(Exchange)

Talk to your carrier to have them disable the data services.

If you are on BES you can disable the e-mail redirection.
If you are using Desktop Manager, you can disable e-mail redirection from there.
If you are using BWC, you can go in and disable it from the web client.

No need to get the carrier involved. Then you lose Internet access, etc.

That seems funny, to use the BlackBerry only as a phone considering how many people complain about using it as phone.
