Are you running the latest 4.0 of the firmware for your BlackBerry?

NJBLackBerry, after doing some BlackBerry support, it seems most people aren't running the latest version and don't do the searching. Most of the fanatics like me do the updates, but as you can see from some of the replies, lots of them ask where do they get it, how to do they install it, etc. Maybe you can put a sticky that has a matrix of each handheld and the latest known release of the firmware?

Sweetlilworf, to check your firmware, go to Options --> About, if you got a SMS from TMobile, I'm assuming you have a 7100t or a 7290? The latest for them is 4.0.2.32, but under your BlackBerry Browser options, is it set to emulate a BlackBerry browser? I think I've seen that problem once before with someone who set it to a different browser emulation.

Visit the website listed above from your BB.. If you click the link from your computer browser it will not install the games onto your BB..

Go to the site from your BB and follow the links to the free games. Once downloaded OTA (over the air) icons will show on your BB...

Best of luck....

And most of the time, the version of the software has little to do with their issue. In this case, the http://mobile.blackberry.com web site, which, in fact, it DOES appear that way.

Sweetlilwolf - Go to the website and scroll down to games / applications and double click the wheel. Then double click on "Free Games from BlackBerry". You can then scroll down to the bottom, accept the terms and download and use some of the games. (Hint: Press the B button to go to the bottom of the web page). There are a bunch of excellent games from http://bb.magmic.com but they are not free.

And these will work just fine on any version of the BlackBerry handheld OS.

Sure. You've followed the link to the Magmic site, instead of going to "Free Games from Blackberry." Select "Blackberry Extras" from the main page, or the "Free Games..." link on the "Games and Apps" page. You should get to an area that has 5 or 6 freebies.

Make sure u go from the blackberry web browser, if u go from a regular computer u will not see the Free games link

From mobile.blackberry.com do the following to get the games:

Go to GAMES/APPLICATIONS
then look for FREE GAMES FROM BLACKBERRY
It should be cake from there....should be like 5-6 games..

Actually you click on Blackberry Extras and then you will see the link to the games. I just checked and they are still there.
