Hello there.

I have a VZW 7250.

When I receive PIN, Email, or any messages for that matter, I have the BB set to vibrate, based on my custom profile. When an incoming message gets pushed through, I normally get TWO short vibrations. Every now and then, it would change to receiving just ONE short vibration upon an incoming message. No changes were made to my profile or anything else for that matter. I reboot would fix the problem usually. I doesn't happen often. Just once in a while. Any ideas?

ALSO, does anyone else here feel that sometimes the vibration alert is stronger than other times...battery life being equal?

Level 1 message perhaps? set to different vibrate/ring etc?

Nope, it is set to VIBRATE.

I've had this same problem with a Bell Mobility 7250 here in Canada! I've since loaded the latest software release from Sprint (it will work on any 7250 in North America), and the problem has disappeared.

Hmmm...I was chewing over the idea of updating the OS. Do you think there is a benefit to waiting for your specific provider's OS update release?

I have Verizon, but I have seen posted by others that they have used the Sprint release on their VZW phones with success.
