Default access voicemail w/o a bb?

Please Login to Remove!

im trying to access my voicemail w/o my bb. so i went to phone>option>voicemail and check what # i need to dial. it said +1-516-606-0585. when i dial that # it said it is out of service. so any1 know what is the correct # to dial? thx in advance.

ps - this is thru at&t on my 8310 curve in nyc if it helps.

dial your phone number and hit * (or # cant remember) and dial your password when prompted.

nope...just dial into my number and press * and #...didn't prompt me for a password...what now?

i am trying to remember if i had to set up the password first. dialing from the blackberry you can get to the voicemail options. i cannot recall if i set that up previously

I think you have to wait for the voice recording to play before you hit *, or actually maybe wait for it to finish. Don't hit the # sign. Basically, try * before it gives the tone to leave a message and then after that.

I have done the above steps on my 8700g on tmo, just wait for your VM message to start, press the "*" key, put on your password and press "#". Should get you in.

well at least im not insane heh. was beginning to wonder there for a moment. you can always call your carrier and get them to give you the instructions for remotely accessing your email.

Or you can simply go to your call log and hit the menu key once your call log is open and hit call voice mail :D

Edit: I just checked my speed dial and number 1 as usual is voice dial.
