Default k im confused...

right now im using a pearl, on t-mobile. i do not have a data plan. im confused. i have heard from people it is possible to use opera mini etc with a generic data plan such as the T-mobile Web $5.99 plan( in my case) even blackberryfaq says its possible, but then people on this forum also tell me its not... whats the answer im confused

It doesn't work for a lot of things, though. Although it says "unlimited" It's very limited in what it will access. I only know this from helping folks who are using it. I wouldn't recommend it.
