Default 2 Smartcard Readers Failed

Please Login to Remove!

I work with lots of signed and encrypted mail. I have a 7100 with the bluetooth smartcard reader. This is the only bluetooth device approved for use by my security conscisous organization.

However, 2 readers have failed on me, and I've never gotten this to work. Both readers stopped generating the Passkey that is needed for pairing with the BB after generating the Passkey about 20 times. I've wiped the reader and re-installed SW, but this hasn't helped.

When I press the button that is supposed to generate the Passkey, I get the device ID for the reader, but no Passkey.

Any help appreciated. My network support team has given up. Are the readers just a poor product? Without the ability to read encrypted email, I can only get about half of my mail on my BB.
