Has anyone successfully made the T-Mobile Client work with Cingular service? If I install the T-Mobile software on my Cingular 7290, will it work then?

I have tmobile and used that im client, but personally i dont like it, i feel like its not real time, and you don't get your full buddylist.
If someone can convince me better, I'll go back to it.
