Hi,

I'm new to BES (4.1), and we're switching from Good to BES. What I've immediately noticed is that when I switch devices between users without totally wiping/erasing the handheld data, the previous user's contacts that exist on the handheld will sync back to the new user's Outlook folder. In other words, Jane's former Blackberry device gets provisioned to Paul, but Jane's contacts will then start to get synced back to Pauls contacts in his Outlook.

Now, is this normal behavior for BES?

Is there a best practice in performing this, as this is what I used to do in Good without any issues of this nature.

Yep

In BB land then always do a hand-held wipe before swapping devices..
