I was wondering, when I had a Nokia 6610 and a treo, I could use the software to send texts from my laptop via bluetooth or usb. I was wondering if there is such a program available for blackberries

not quite sure why you would want this. you can usually send SMS from your carriers website for free via the internet.

i text a lot at work and other places where its more convenient to just use a computer... i get bad reception at home so if i could leave my phone by the window and sms from say a couch in the living room that would be ideal, and its just an easy way to sort through messages to keep and not keep.

I don't believe so but you can search in the Aftermarket Software sections. TONS of stuff there. I used to be able to do this with my RZR as well.

as sith said if you have internet at home you can most likely do it for free from computer...

You can send SMS by sending email to the SMS gateway for the carrier. A very detailed Wiki here for info
